TFNSW Parramatta

Aspen were engaged by Formula Interiors, working along with Brewster Murray to complete the office fit out for Transport for NSW (TFNSW) in Parramatta. Located in the iconic Octagon Building, the fit out spans over an impressive four levels. Each level comprises of two octagonal satellites connected by internal bridges within light filled atriums. The four flexible meeting rooms involved a coordination of high detail finishes and fittings. This was achieved through the use of expanded mesh, timber beams and whiteboard operable walls to create a striking enclosed meeting space to bring staff together. Recognition of the Indigenous tribes formed an integral part of the design. Each meeting room was supplied a veneer door including a bridge or highway name routered into the panel and reference to an Indigenous tribe. The vibrant colour scheme and joinery caters for a range of working styles and has created a fresh, vibrant place for the staff at TFNSW to collaborate and work.
