The refurbishment of Armidale’s airport is an impressive transformation. Aspen worked with AW Edwards to bring the new space to life and create a fresh, functional area for all staff and travellers. The scope included check-in counters, departure counters, parents room bench, staff kitchen, car rental counter and cafe.

Inspired by industrial raw materials, Polytec’s imi-beton grey concrete range was used on the check-in and departures counters as well as the cafe. Other finishes included Laminate, Corian and Flotex Vision. This paired with the exposed timber beams and floor to ceiling windows create a very welcoming environment.
